Go to Google.com and type in “Better Business Bureau (BBB)”. The BBB will have information on that business if there have been disputes or other problems. This is the first place where you will pick up if something is dodgy with a particular company.

Secondly, go to Google.com again and type the company name into the search box. Read a few things that other people have to say. You will pick up very quickly if there are more negative or more positive things said. Please note that some guys are bad mouthing some companies because they could not be successful with them at some time in their lives but you will quickly sniff out real complaints from sad people with too much time. So, if there are too many “legimite” complaints….stay far away.
