The Power of Positive Thinking

No comments October 20th, 2009

I’m a very firm believer in the power of positivity. It has enabled me to achieve so many things in my life from big to small.

From when I was in school, through university and even now in my career and business life. Being in a positive frame of mind and thinking positively about outcomes has always stood me in good stead.

I’ve never had to worry about passing exams – there was never a doubt in my mind that I would not do well. I approached exams full of confidence and positive thoughts on how well I would do. This frame of mind is what helped me to gain distinctions academically and finish top of my class.

It’s the same mentality, of always thinking of Positive outcomes, that got me through really tough times at university and enabled me to qualify as a medical doctor and start working.

Time and time again I see the effect of mind over matter in my patients now. After conveying bad news or news of a serious illness to different people it is amazing to see how the patients with a positive attitude do well physically compared to those without this positive attitude.

I have even seen patients who have seemingly miraculously reversed their illnesses simply by being positive and using that mindset to overcome the physical obstacles to their well-being.

Having a positive mindset or thinking positively about a given situation or outcome can and does have a huge impact on results! Whether it’s health issues, financial issues or whether you want a specific result in your exam or project, being positive and thinking positively has huge power!

Visualise the end result you want to achieve and then think positively about this result. Believe it’s going to happen and it will!

Trust me.. The power of positive thinking does work!
